'Sharing Your Coffee/Tea Cup'
Jeane of Artit suggested we all share a photo of our coffee/tea cup here in blog land. This mug is my morning favorite from our everyday wedding china. (two years and we haven't chipped a plate or mug yet!) Although we have lost a knife and dropped a spoon down the disposal. I drink black tea and add milk if drinking Irish or English Breakfast tea, lemon if my throat feels scratchy.. Once, at a local teahouse, I drank a white tea and it was lovely. So this is it, consider posting your favorite coffee/ tea cup!

How pretty your little writing space with computer, cup and a notebook made ready with a pen tucked inside. It your creative corner!:)
ReplyDeleteIt's a beauty, too! Fun seeing everyone's morning cup! :)
ReplyDeleteHow serendipitious. I have a photo of one of my fav mugs ready to post even before reading this. I invite you to place your name on the fabric giveaway at my blog. One I post for today you may have to scroll down to find it on Wednesday's posting. Your cup is quite sweet. I drink tea the same way, plain unless English Breakfast or black tea to which I add milk. I love white tea, green tea and kukicha tea. These all tend to be a bit pricey though.
ReplyDeleteThis is great fun...I also drink a lot of black tea and love English tea the most (no milk for me, but lemon if I choose Earl Grey).
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful day!
As always, you’re gracious self shines. You cup is beautiful, which is in keeping with who you are; a lovely talented artist with soul. And heart. I truly enjoy visiting here with you. Your artistic process is inspiring to me. Thank you Mary Ann, for being you!
ReplyDeleteoh Mary Ann - I love your delicate cup - it's how I think of you!
ReplyDeleteThat's it! Finally, something I have in common with all you wonderful artists. I have a cup or two each day of fair trade English breakfast or Irish Breakfast tea. Not sure what makes it breakfast specific because sometimes I have it in the afternoon. smile. Right now my cup of choice at work is a lovely yellow mug with a band of painted flowers given to me by my sister a few years back - keeps her close to my heart as she moved to another state.
ReplyDeleteMary Ann, I have your five interview questions ready to go, but I don't have your email address! Send it over to the Manor! :)
ReplyDeleteHello 'Blue'! (from scanning the posts I'mgng to guess that your name is Mary Ann)...
ReplyDeleteHaving a little chuckle here...One of my dear friends, Robyn, mentioned your post and offered a link on her blog. I clicked on it, only to find that here you are in my back yard!! Talk about 6 degrees of separation! such a small world...
Great blog...wise words.
Isn't that interesting,,,it's just the type of cup I would've imagined you holding!
ReplyDeleteI mostly use mugs, and have several,,,I tend to swap them out, as all are favorites.
My Nectar Of The Gods is coffee,,,,two cups in the morning do it for me, but in the summer I drink lots and lots of tea,,,,iced.
Cynthia, Yes, my computer desk is my creative spot and my morning haunt!
ReplyDeleteWillow, Thank you, I like the cup you have featured in your sidebar!
Kim, No milk? I used to down shots of expresso but alas my body refuses!
Leslie, I don't know what to say...thank you and I'm very glad you visit!
ReplyDeleteJeane, Delicate? Me? I'm no longer the girl with the scuffed shoes, hair all undone, buttons missing? Or later in life, wearing all black with heavy black boots? Delicate? Okay, I'll give it a try!
Karen, How wonderful to have a morning cup to remind you of your sister D! Do you add lemon or milk to your tea?
ReplyDeleteStephanie, I'm especially glad about Robyn being our link...I like her blog and her work so much!
Babs, I am my cup! I just can't drink the coffee anymore...but I'll join you for iced tea!
Honey - that's when I'm feeling luxurious. and I apprecaite good honey! Most days simply black. Yes - she also gave little white painted metal tin with lid that says TEA and I keep my tea in there.
ReplyDeleteYour cup would be ideal for lemon, honey and ginger tea. Very good for scratchy throats!
ReplyDeleteI buy random cups that appeal to me to use in paintings and I purchased this cup last summer. It is just the right size and the pattern is lovely. A whole set would be wonderful to have. I can see why you like it!
