Altered Wilderness Lantern

The original "Wilderness Lantern" is first followed by this altered view. I've used the pixlr program to punch up the color, texture and edges and I rather like the result. I've considered taking these altered views to a printer and having them printed in 'real size'. I need to find out about paper, sheen etc...

movie recommendation: 'Philomenia'....loved 'Nebraska' too!
next movie on my list 'Fading Gigolo'
Having fun with PBS series 'Miss Fisher Mystery Series' set in Australia and 'Murder in Paradise' set in the Caribbean.

    1. Connie, Thank you ... I had fun with the altering.
Watched Miss Fisher murder mystery last night ... I especially like the characters and the 1920's backdrop of Australia... the actual mystery not so much!

  2. Both images of you work are beautiful, Mary Ann.
Miss Fisher is a favourite of mine and can't wait to see Philomenia.
(Love the blue streaks in your hair by the way.)

  3. Interesting idea to turn photo into a print. Hope that works out for you. Saw Philomenia and liked it. also Miess Fisher. However, unlike many british mystery series, it has a story that runs through, and eventually ends.

  6. I love those effects you've digitally applied to the image! Gives it real oomph (technical art word--I'm sure you're familiar with it), mystery and depth. Will be interested to find out when/if you get a full-size print made and how pleased you are with the results.
