M.Lehrer-Plansky a catalog 2008-2012

I am so pleased to launch this catalog here on Blue Sky Dreaming! Creating this book with Blurb.com has been a big high riding thrill and challenge for me. All in all I have learned so much and in this case, I can say I'm proud of the results. This catalog is 60 pages containing my writing and images and is offered in soft cover and hard cover with a dust jacket. It measures
approx. 8"x8" square. An unexpected perk has been the ability to make this book available as an e-book. I would highly recommend this form as the price is extraordinarily low. This experience has opened the door for me to consider creating other books with my art but for now I'm basking in pride and gratitude. Not bad for the little girl who began way back on Clarke St.?!!

  1. Fabulous!
Blue Sky, does the e-book mean I can have it on my computer,,or does it mean it's for a Kindle or a Nook?
Probably a dumb question, but that's me. ☺
Whichever form I choose, I WILL have this book!!
    Thank you!

    1. Maggie, I surprised myself with those feelings of being proud...it has been quite a journey. The book has been an answer to not having the energy for framing and showing work...a way to stay in the game!

  5. Congratulations! It looks great. The layouts you chose fit your square format work so well. I love it. So tell me, is this just a ebook to view like I just did or can I buy a copy from you or from the blurb site?

    1. Annie, Thank you! When clicking on the little cart, a choice on the printed book is available. If you are interested in an e-book: from the clicking on the little cart, click on 'bookstore', click on e-book type, write in M.Lehrer-Plansky and 'search'...just like a walk on the beach! Actually I think blurb just added the e-book category and it seems to be complicated.

  7. Oh Mary Ann! Brilliant! Gorgeous! Fantastic! One of the most beautiful Artist Catalogs I have ever seen. I love your image choice for the cover! The way you introduce yourself and your work. The way the whole thing flows. You are an artist, a writer...and a designer. This is 100% captivating. I love your work. May this open many doors for you. It is time for you to fly!

    1. Thank you...funny the small size works for me as something I can hold close to me or carry about but I can also see the merit of a large book too!

    1. Thank you Karen, it does feel like an accomplishment. I began the old fashioned way by making a model of cutting and gluing text and photos and then I went online with blurb.com and had a good time moving things about! Before a new book....new work!
