Pocket Full of Awards

This is a beautiful award! I received it from Suki awhile ago and now it's my turn to pass it on. This award is given for recognition of cultural, ethical, literary and personal values transmitted in the form of creative and original writing (art too)...that's the general idea.
*Show the award on your blog.
*Link back to the blog that gave the award.
*Nominate 15 other blogs deserving the same.
*Leave a message on the blog of those you've selected.
I'm not sure about 15 but I will do my best. I have chosen new blogs to me, even some blogs that I am using this award as a way to introduce myself...so here goes!
That's it, I made it to 12 and I need to contact everyone....this is hard for me as I'm a bit of a recluse. I actually like this award business but in my past I was the one to shove my ribbons and awards in a paper bag. I'm the one that the neighbors used to ring the bell to see if I was alive...because I wouldn't go out for days?? I'm changing but it's a slow process to stop living only in my world and get out of my cave and mix with others. I'll post the other award tomorrow...it's a beauty.

  2. Oh Mary Ann - you are too much! Thank you so much! I too am a reclusive personality. I find it difficult to approach others, most people don't realize that about me, unless they live near me -- ha ha - and come knocking to see if I still exist! I imagine they think I am strange... This award means a great deal - thank you!

  7. THAT was terribly kind of you. I daresay this one means a lot to me. That's a helluva compliment from someone who has read me once. I am a gee-shucks kinda girl so I look at my feet a bit and I don't like to boast. I got me a paper bag as well. It's worn at the lip and this will slip in nicely. I'll hold it ballooned at my hip. Thank you!

    I'm intrigued. Erin

I have been very remiss in adding awards to my blog recently,,the technical stuff I always seem to be able to put off.
Also love these boxes you make. (previous post)

  11. Interesting list, most of whom I do not know so thanks for the intros. You know, from your picture, you look like a gregarous extrovert. I am surprised to learn you are a recluse. I am very much so myself and at times in the past I have gone days without talking to anyone except maybe the store keeper.

  12. Suki, I grew up in a home of opposites...when the doorbell rang, my mother smiled and had a "showtime" attitude whereas my father dashed out the back to work in the garage. I carry both aspects in my personality although the recluse behavior is easiest for me!
